Jonathan Ryan Sim
Jonathan is an aspiring audio engineer with a passion for rock and heavy music. His experience as a drummer has gifted him with a strong sense of rhythm and an ear for detail. Through his time in LASALLE College of the Arts’ Diploma in Audio Production programme and his internship, Jonathan has gained experience working with live sound crews with the aim of delivering successful live shows. He looks forward to expanding his knowledge and experiences in audio production upon graduation.
Work
Some of Jonathan's more notable work includes being stagehand for Fleeting Feeling Festival which was his class' self-devised project. He was also in-charge of planning and being the artist liaison for experimental electronic trio, Black Zenith as well as acting as the monitor engineer for The Beatbox House, both of which were part of LASALLE's Lunchtime Concerts.
During his internship, he got the chance to work as a stagehand for American rock band, Against The Current at Gateway Theatre. He also started a YouTube channel where he records and uploads his own drum covers.
