Aw Tong Huan, Chelsea
Chelsea is a graduating student of LASALLE’s BA (Hons) Music degree programme, specialising in popular music performance.
With over 11 years of drumming experience, Chelsea is a versatile musician with a background in symphonic band, ABRSM in piano and is a self-taught guitarist. She clinched a Distinction at the Ministry of Education's Drum Major NCO Camp as the drum major of her secondary school symphonic band. At Temasek Polytechnic, she was the vice-president of Music Vox, attaining CCA Merit in both the Arts and Leadership in the 2017 Temasek Student Excellence Awards.
After graduating, she is keen to work on meaningful collaborations with others, blending different art forms together, to contribute to Singapore’s arts scene.
Work
Chelsea served as a drummer and percussionist in Temasek Polytechnic’s 25th Anniversary Musical Crunch Time (2015) and LASALLE College of the Arts’ Summer of Love (2023). She has also performed at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre and various festivals such as the Singapore Night Festival and PLAYfiesta (2022).
