Ong Hwee Boon, Patricia

Patricia’s research focuses on Chinese and Southeast Asian art, and her MA thesis specifically investigates the relations between student activism and contemporary art development in Asia. She hopes to build upon this research in the future by further exploring the roles of student activism in influencing the contemporary art discourses in Asia. She aspires to curate exhibitions that tell the story of the multifaceted relationship between activism and art.
